We have open gyms scheduled for July 19, 20, 26 and 28 from 8am-10am these aren’t mandatory. Tryouts are August 4, 5 and 8 from 8am-10am and a current physical is required to tryout.

Open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade from Kenton, Campbell and Boone counties. 850 backpacks stuffed with new school supplies distributed on a first-come, first-served basis

To receive backpacks, families must provide photo I.D., proof of residence (a recent bill) and children’s proof of identity (Social Security or medical card)

August 9th:    6th Grade Camp Tichenor @ TMS from 8:30 – 12:30.  All incoming 6th graders are strongly encouraged to attend this day as we spend a few hours preparing for the transition to middle school before school begins and going through their schedule.  To register, you can visit the TMS webpage, our Facebook page, go to, or pick up a registration form in the front office.

August 9th:     6th Grade Parent Mixer @ TMS from 6:00 – 7:30 / All parents/guardians of incoming 6th graders are encouraged to attend this friendly mixer as we discuss the upcoming school year.  To register, you can visit the TMS webpage, our Facebook page, go to, or call the front office at (859) 727-2255.

Career Boot Camp on August 3
On Wednesday, August 3, the Brighton Center and W.K. Kellogg Foundation will present the “Erlanger-Elsmere Career Boot Camp.”  Space is limited for this program, which will include visits to two post-secondary schools and two local companies. Details are in the flier at the link below.
